Southgate Public School is proud to announce that Jason Trautz, our art teacher, has been selected as the April Staff Member of the Month. We asked him to share a little about himself:
Jason Adam Trautz is a K- 8 classroom teacher in Southgate, Kentucky with a passion for both education and the visual arts. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Arts from Rowan University and brings a creative, hands-on approach to his teaching. In addition to his work in the classroom, Jason has years of experience as a ceramics instructor, having taught in private educational facilities and pottery studios throughout the Cincinnati area. His combined background in art and education allows him to foster creativity, critical thinking, and confidence in his students, while creating an engaging and supportive learning environment.
