Southgate Public School is proud to announce that Ms. Jen Weber, our school counselor, has been selected as the February Staff Member of the Month.
We asked Ms. Weber to share her connection to Southgate and a little about herself:
"This is my 7th year at Southgate and my 21st year as a counselor. I began my career as a high school English teacher after graduating from NKU. I then went on to complete my Master’s in school counseling at Xavier University, and most recently, my Rank 1 and DPP certification through the University of the Cumberlands.
I have two children, Caroline who is 15 and Jude who is 11. I enjoy spending time with my kids and our two dogs, Sophie and Joe “Furrow,” our giant Great Pyrenees puppy. Joey just celebrated his first birthday this week, and he already weighs over 100 pounds!
I love Southgate because of my co-workers and the awesome students and families. Small school, big pride." 😊
