Southgate Public School is proud to announce that Christy LaCalameto, one of our special education teachers, has been selected as the December Staff Member of the Month. We asked her to share a little about herself:
"Thank you for recognizing me as Employee of the Month. This is my first year at Southgate. I have taught at another district for several years in Special Education and as a 5th grade Math, ELA and Social Studies teacher. I have enjoyed being in a smaller school that has big pride. The teamwork and community have been amazing. Everyone has made my transition a pleasant and easy move. Thank you again."
