Southgate Public School is proud to announce that Stacy Dickerson, our RtI Instructional Assistant , has been selected as the February Staff Member of the Month. We asked her to share a little about herself:
"This is my fifth year at Southgate, and I absolutely love working with the little Lions. I started as the kindergarten teacher assistant for my first 2 years and this is my third year as the teacher assistant for RTI. During my time here at Southgate, I also coached the 3rd thru 5th grade girls basketball team and now I am coaching the Little Dribblers basketball team this year. I also do after school tutoring and this year I am the troop leader for our Girl Scout troop here at Southgate.
I have been married for going on 20 years and we have 2 children, Jade who is 29 and Ashton who is 27 and a furbaby named Harley. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and going on hikes with our dog.
I love the small school environment at Southgate. It is true, Small School, Big Pride.”
